| Review: | REPOSITIONING... A great way to Europe We enjoyed a great cruise last Spring, from Fort Lauderdale to Genoa, Italy. The ship was repositioning from a winter in the Caribbean to a summer in the Mediterranean , and this is a wonderful way to cross the warm South Atlantic, visiting Puerto Rico and many wonderful Caribbean ports of call, not to mention the Canary Islands and Spain and Italy. Not only did we have great days ashore, we also enjoyed plenty of time on the ship. The food was always excellent as was the entertainment. Everyone seemed sad to leave the ship and its crew when we docked in Savona - many were Americans who were immediately flying back to the States, having enjoyed 16 days of vacation. Fortunately we had the time to stay on and explore Italy - and try out the Italian we had learned in our daily language class aboard this beautiful ship. |
